About tummy.com, ltd.
tummy.com, ltd. has been in
business since 1995, providing quality Linux solutions to it's clients.
Our goal is to not only solve existing problems, but ensure that
appropriate countermeasures are put in place to prevent a problem from
reoccurring, or reduce it's impact if it does happen again.
Our procedures have been honed by big business experience, where
down-time can literally cost hundreds of thousands of dollars per hour in
lost revenue. We draw on this experience to create a plan for preventing
repeated outages, and then work with our clients to determine the
appropriate level of response for their circumstances.
Our staff on average has over a decade of computer-related experience.
We have significant experience with solving problems, and use a review
process to ensure that our clients receive the most appropriate solutions.
In short, we are a strong, stable company with significant experience
in providing quality solutions. We've been in business since 1995,
you can count on us continuing to be available to solve your problems.
We were a "dot-com" before it was popular (tummy.com was registered in
1994), and have survived the "dot-com bust" years of the early 2000s.
Commitment to Our Customers
tummy.com, ltd. is committed to providing value to our clients through
the application of significant experience in providing appropriate
solutions.
We will always be mindful of finding appropriate solutions to our
clients problems. A high profile outage at a large company may dictate
spending thousands of dollars on a High Availability solution. Another
company may find that deployment of a monitoring system better fits their
needs...
Our significant experience in the computer industry provides us with a
large set of solutions to problems. For example, a client was having
problems with some networking hardware. The vendor repeatedly tried
different solutions, but daily 30 minute outages were continuing,
preventing thousands of people from reaching the Internet. We provided an
automated system which was able to reduce these outages from 30 minutes to
3 minutes, until the hardware vendor could provide a permanent fix.
Commitment to the Community
We aren't just in the Linux community to make a quick buck... You'd
be hard pressed to find another company of our size which is even half as
committed to the community. Linux and Open Source are things we believe
in, and are technologies that we use and like.
Our participation in the community has included:
Hosting local users group meetings.
Donating hardware and network bandwidth for many Colorado
Users Groups.
Our commitment to using, advocating, and development of
the Python programming language.
Participation in many Open Source projects including
documentation, programming, and management.
Availability of many of our software projects as Open Source from
our web/FTP site.
Packaging of Open Source software.
Donating hardware, bandwidth, and support services for many Open
Source projects.
